Jean-Marc de Pas, sculptor of movement and memory.

For nearly 40 years, Jean-Marc de Pas has devoted his life to sculpture and to creating a poetic sculpture garden open to the public.


With a doctorate in Arts and Art Sciencesand a graduate of the Beaux-Arts in Paris and the Ecole Boulle, he openedhis studio in 1989 in Bois-Guilbert.


Through his work, Jean-Marc de Pas seeks to give soul to matter, to express an inner state, to translate a relationshipsensitive to the world – to convey his wonder at the beauty of life, or to breathe life into matter. He dialogues with nature, time and the elements. He seeks to ensure that his works resonate with the surrounding space.

Jean-Marc de Pas’s studio offers a variety of workshops and courses designed to share his passion for sculpture, in partnership with the Sculpture Garden association.

Led by professional sculptors such as Benjamin Gehan and Hamoud Bouaicha (M-Dan), these sessions are open to both beginners and advanced participants, with Jean-Marc de Pas himself in attendance.
